  • Is proficient in financial modeling, reporting, and project performance analysis
  • Can effectively bridge the gap between project teams and financial data
  • Has excellent communication skills and can present complex financial information clearly

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As a Project Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial success of our projects. By providing accurate and timely financial information, you will enable stakeholders to make informed decisions. You will work closely with project managers, the finance team and external partners to ensure project goals are met within budget and the agreed timelines.

In our rapidly growing environment, you will have many opportunities and responsibilities.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Supporting project budgets and business cases, project forecasts and cash flow and cost estimates
  • Project Monitoring: Regular meetings with our Development Team, tracking project performance, cost tracking and approvals and progress against targets (timing, scope and financial targets)
  • Reporting: Preparing and presenting project financial performance reports to internal and external stakeholders
  • Risk Management: Identifying financial opportunities and risks and support on proposing mitigation strategies
  • Compliance: Ensuring all financial activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Process Optimization: Developing and refining project management dashboards and reporting tools
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborating with project teams, finance, and other departments to maintain alignment while ensuring an independent view
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Supporting the CFO and Finance Director with ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting needs

ABOUT THE TEAM

You will work in a small, collaborative and experienced finance team. Our scale-up environment ensures short communication lines with other departments, providing plenty of opportunities for learning and growth. Regular site visits, training sessions and an introduction program will get you up to speed in the organization and the datacenter industry.

We also value team spirit and regularly end the week with a Friday afternoon drink on our rooftop terrace (weather permitting).


WHO ARE YOU?

To get started as a Project Controller at Penta Infra, you should:

  • have a bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably in finance, business economics or project management
  • have at least 5 years of experience in project controlling or a similar role
  • have a background working in the industry or related industry, such as ISP, hosting, real estate or construction companies
  • have excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on mentality
  • thrive in an informal, dynamic, and international work environment
  • be motivated to continuously improve and grow professionally
  • be available for 40 hours per week
