Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Together with your colleagues you form the financial core of Penta Infra. You will make sure our financial data input is accurate and the processing is done in a timely manner. You work in a structured way, you are able to prioritize your tasks and will meet your deadlines. In this role it is very important to be pro active and work with other departments to ensure the purchase process runs smoothly. In our rapidly growing environment, you will have many opportunities and responsibilities.

Some of your key responsibilities are:

• Responsible for the accounts payable end-to-end process of multiple entities;
• Processing daily accounts payable transactions and ensuring the follow-up of all outstanding items for area of responsibility;
• Analysing accounts payable aging and follow up in a timely manner; 
• Verifying the accuracy of the purchase orders created by the business;
• Responsible for all aspects of purchase ledger invoice process checking, coding, batching, posting to the accounts system;
• Responding and solving any inquiries by customers, suppliers or colleagues in a timely and professional manner;
• Processing of bank transactions including monthly bank reconciliations;
• Preparing supplier payment runs;
• Supporting the junior accounts payable specialist;
• Support the Finance team by providing various analyses and reports;
• Supporting financial (IT) projects.

You will work in a dynamic, collaborative and experienced finance team. Our scale-up environment ensures short communication lines with other departments, providing plenty of opportunities for learning and growth. Regular site visits, training sessions and an introduction program will get you up to speed in the organization and the data center industry.

We also value team spirit and regularly end the week with a Friday afternoon drink on our rooftop terrace (weather permitting).

WHO ARE YOU?

To get started as a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist at Penta Infra, you should:

• Intermediate or Secondary Vocational Education (HBO / MBO) with a diploma or equivalent of job related and educational experience;
• have experience and affinity with finance and accounting;
• have 5+ years of relevant experience in accounts payable;
• are fluent in Dutch and English, pre German;
• are accurate, analytical, and structured in your work;
• are comfortable working in a multi-entity, international environment;
• are available for 32-40 hours per week;
• are comfortable working in a multi-entity, international environment;
• thrive in a scale-up setting where flexibility and growth go hand-in-hand.
