Jr. Business Controller

We are looking for someone who:

1. Is digital savvy and data minded
2. Has affinity with finance
3. Can act as a linking pin between the business and the data

You will be part of an experienced finance team. There is a broad knowledge of the data center industry and control and accounting. We are looking for a Jr. Business Controller mainly driven by two factors:

1. Increased internal and external information need on business reporting
2. Roll-out of new ERP system

We will get you familiar in the organization and the data center business through site visits, extensive training sessions and an extensive introduction program. Our ERP application partner will train you in the reporting and data application so there is no specific upfront application skill needed. This is your change to get business experience in one of the fastest growing IT industries globally within a rapidly growing European organization.


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Together with your colleagues you form the financial core of Penta Infra. You will make sure that the information need from the different stakeholders is met. This information is needed to update the stakeholders on performance or give them the information needed to base decision making on the right data. You do this by setting up the right management dashboard & reporting (based on guidance from the CFO and Finance Manager) and ensuring this is made available to the right stakeholders in timely manner and in accordance with the data quality standards.

In our rapidly growing environment, you will have many opportunities and responsibilities. This will help you develop as a broad finance professional. Of course you will be assisted in your development by experienced colleagues. This role will gradually develop into a more senior role with complex modelling, advisory and presentations.

Some of your daily tasks are:

• Assisting the implementation of new ERP system (e.g. data conversion)

• Build and maintain intuitive dashboards and reporting

• Ensure data quality and timelines

• Analyze data and challenge input

• Assist on building management presentations

• Support with positioning papers

• Preparing and analyzing project, quarterly and monthly reports

• Support the Finance Manager and CFO by providing various analyses and reports

• Discuss reports with sales, operations and projects

• Ad-hoc requests from stakeholders

• Supporting and initiating financial (IT) projects

You will work in a small, sociable and experienced team. Because of the scale-up environment, the lines of communication with other departments are short. As a result, you will interact with many people throughout the organization and beyond. We regularly end the week with a Friday afternoon drink on our roof terrace (when the weather is nice).


WHO ARE YOU?

To start as Junior Business Controller at Penta Infra, it is important that you:

• have a bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably in accounting, finance or related field

• have affinity with data and finance

• have 0-2 years’ work experience

• are available for 40 hours per week

• are able to express yourself clearly

• are actively involved in your own development

• know when you need help and ask for it

• get energy from improving things

• feel comfortable in an informal, dynamic and international work setting

• Salary between € 3000 and € 4000 gross per month based on 40 hours (depending on experience)
