Penta Infra announces a new connectivity partnership with Duocast at our Leeuwarden data center, Penta Infra LEE02. With the addition of Duocast Connect+ to our carrier-neutral ecosystem, businesses operating from LEE02 now have access to one of the most powerful fiber connections between Amsterdam and the northern part of the Netherlands.

High-capacity, low-latency connectivity

Duocast Connect+ is a high-capacity fiber solution (scalable till 32 Terabit per second) designed for organizations that require speed, reliability, and scalability for transporting large volumes of data. Built on advanced DWDM technology using state-of-the-art Nokia equipment and running across Relined’s trusted fiber infrastructure, the connection offers scalable bandwidth with minimal latency — making it particularly suited for demanding applications in AI, healthcare, research, education, and e-commerce.

The connection is available immediately for businesses at Penta Infra LEE02.

Strategic position in the northern part of the Netherlands

The northern part of the Netherlands offers a compelling alternative to the increasingly congested Randstad region, with less network congestion and a strategic geographic position toward the Nordics. Penta Infra LEE02 sits at the heart of this, serving as the most important regional hub interconnecting the northern part of the Netherlands. The data center is located on the main fiber route between Amsterdam, the Eemshaven data center hub, and the Nordics via the COBRA cable.
